I’M ELAINE,
the founder of SunShadow Studios. I believe that nutrition can’t just be measured in macros or calories and that movement is so much more than steps or reps. I combine behavioral science, dietary therapy, and movement modalities to help empower clients while releasing negative programming. Through our work together you’ll have the tools to actualize the quality of life that you’ve been dreaming of!
I grew up in Southern California with a passion for ballet. As my career evolved into professional dance and modeling, I realized that true well-being isn’t just about being physically in shape—it’s about emotional and mental health as well. The healthier and happier I became, the more meaningful opportunities came my way, both personally and professionally.
I’ve danced in films, music videos, and television, and have been featured in *Vogue Italia*. I hold a certification in Nutrition and Healthy Living from Cornell University. I founded Starr Pilates in 2016.
Through my experiences in the dance and fashion industries, along with my ongoing studies in Chinese Nutritional Therapy and movement, I help clients find balance and well-being. My mission is to guide others in creating sustainable internal shifts that feel amazing and radiate outward.

Working with me is different because I’m able to help you connect the dots on how nutrition and exercise affect our mood and energy (and vice versa). By becoming more aware of where our energy is stagnant we can release blocks and finally evolve past old habits.
You’ll shift from feeling overwhelmed and isolated to gaining a compassionate understanding of why you fall into certain habits. You’ll learn which questions to ask yourself to break old patterns and step into your ideal self.
I approach health holistically, with a unique combination of tools from behavioral techniques to nutrition science to Chinese Dietary Therapy to Pilates principles. These modalities will balance your body and nurture your spirit.
