aesthetics of garden and home!
These unique and original sculptures are created, designed and handcrafted in
the American Northwest (Portland, Oregon).
Each piece is cast in natural, weather-resistant and environmentally
friendly materials and finished with
individually applied patinas.

Sandra Rocha Kaufman - Bio
My sculptural images reflect my perception of the
visual beauty that is inherent in nature and humankind.
Imaginative representations of animals, birds and flora as
well as capturing a facial expression, smile or beckoning
gesture, I hope these sculptures will allow the viewer to
pause, linger and experience a moment of beauty, harmony and
charm. I am influenced by varied artistic aesthetics and
a love for the great classic, architectural, romantic,
contemporary and ethnic art of our world.
A graduate of Chouinard Art Institute (Cal Arts), Los
Angeles, Ca., I have utilized my art training to work in a
variety of creative occupations: Fashion and Costume
Design, Scenic Design, Theatrical Sculpture, Parade Float
Design and Sculpture. For the last four years, I have
created and designed garden sculpture for Sun Shadow Studio. |
